May 19, 2022: Whenever a beloved celebrity dies, my first question to myself is whether or not I sent them a letter. Occasionally, I get the reverse sensation, realizing I've had someone I adore erroneously filed as deceased. Swamp Dogg is alive! And when I emailed him asking for his address, he responded, simply, with a link to an invitation to his 80th birthday party, so he is getting a letter c/o what I hope is his all-time favorite venue.
