October 22, 2019: Among the many perks of having made a habit of reading a poem every morning, and being willing to talk about it, is that friends now recommend poetry books to me. A beloved led me to "Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude," which made an immediate Ross Gay fanatic of me. Some figures just have a romantic air to them; it felt right that i found "The Book of Delights" at a crush's bookstore. Gay's a teacher of exuberance - could anyone deserve a love letter more?
